DDR4 RAM not being detected after restart, please help!

Just as the title implies, the computer starts no problem and even handles prime95 like a champion, but for some reason, upon restarting, it hangs and I get a Dr. debug code of 55 on my Mobo.

My setup:
Windows 10 Pro
ASRock Z170 Extreme6
i7 6700K
4x4 G.skill DDR4 3000MHz
Noctua NH-14 Cooler
XFX 1050w PSU
EVGA GTX 780

The ram seems happy enough on XMP for the 3000MHz but it consistently gives me the Dr. debug code of 55 on restart. It's worth mentioning that it's a quad channel RAM kit, but I was told that this didn't matter (I asked because my mobo is dual channel) and people said it just meant the sticks were tested to make sure they ran nicely together for quad channel boards. On one occasion I did get a C2 debug code, which I didn't recognize and couldn't find in my manual. The 55 code is consistent, though, and is supposedly indicating that the memory isn't detected. It ONLY happens on restarts, though. Please help! Any knowledge or advice on the issue would be greatly appreciated.

I think we have similar issues in 100 series board. what i did i removed them and place it again after that i update my bios and it works well. Right now i don't have any issues. For some reason 100 series normally support 8gb RAM and it required to update your bios in order to read RAM up to 64gb.

I hope this would help.

It could be defected ram try using each individual ram stick and make sure your type of ram is compatible with your mobo you can check this on the board by the ram slots it should say ddr4 or ddr3 if you bought the wrong kit

DDR4 dimms wouldn't fit in DDR3 slots. Where can I check incompatibilities? I was told quad channel would work for dual channel boards, but that's the only thing I can think of. The issue with testing each dimm on its own is that my giant heatsink covers them, and I'd basically have to reseat the heatsink for each test.
