I have a PC which has the GIGABYTE Motherboard which has on board LAN. Recently I am facing an issue to connect to internet . Some one told LAN card to be replaced with new. Pl. suggest me. PC have Windows 7

What issue are you facing connecting to the internet?

If you hover over the network notification icon in the bottom right corner of your screen with your mouse:

You will get a tool tip (pop up). What does this tool tip (pop up) say?

If you right click this icon and select Troubleshoot problems and follow the troubleshooter; what happens then?

Typically, folks just don't have the proper driver installed, but OK you already verified this with other folks, just buy a PCIe-based board then, it's relatively cheap, I like the Intels. Do not recommend USB dongle.
