My GPU has x2 6-pin PCI-E connectors, but I only have 1 6-pin PCI-E

I am using an R9 380 4GB and a Seasonic G Series 550W PSU. It only comes with 1 PCI-E connection for the GPU.

I didn't plan to overclock because I'm using an i5-4460 on an H97 MOBO anyway. Will the single PCI-E connection work? Do I buy a x2 PCI-E cable at Microcenter?

Another option would be to use 2 seperate PCI-E cables to power the same GPU. Will that work too?

Hey thanks. Just updated my question asking if I can use two separate PCI-E cables and you just answered it. Thanks. :)

(bonus question: will there be a voltage difference if I stick with two separate cables? in other words, is there any cons to using 2 cables instead of one?)
