Looking into getting a Gtx 980 Ti and was wondering what's a good Cpu where I won't have to worry about bottle necking. I was thinking of an Intel i7 4790k but I'm really not familiar with Intel or what other processors would work with this Gpu. I would appreciate if someone could let me know if the i7 is good or maybe another cpu that would be good too. Thanks!

The i7 would be a fantastic choice, though perhaps a bit overkill if you were just going to be gaming. An i5-4690k would work just as well for gaming and is not quite as expensive.

The big benefit of the i7 is hyperthreading, which current games don't make much use of. Hyperthreading really shines in activities like graphic design, video editing, and audio production.

Here's a pretty good video explaining the basics of how hyperthreading works if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnS50lJicXc

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($259.86 @ OutletPC)
Total: $259.86

That said, if you can afford it the i7-4790k would be a great CPU!
