I recently upgraded my ram and video card, and while I wanted to get a new CPU that was simply out of the question for financial reasons. I've heard that the I7 930 overclocks pretty well so if I can get that done then I'll be set. Unfortunately I have no idea where to start, and the few guides I've looked at are beyond confusing. I'm looking for some decent tips, or maybe even some specific number settings directed at a complete noob to start out on. My build is as follows (links to precise pieces included):

I7 930 2.8 GHz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115225
12 GB Corsair Vengeance DD3 1600 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233146
Mobo- Asus Rampage 3 Extreme http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131666
Cooler- CM Hyper 212 EVO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099 with the following fan replacing its stock fan http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608026
7 case fans (3 120mm frontal, 2 120mm rear, 2 140mm top).

I don't need to be some sort of 4.0GHz juggernaut. I'd gladly settle for a perfectly stable 3.6GHz if that's something easier and safer to achieve. Thanks in advance for the help!~
