Vertical coloured lines on boot up

Hi!
I've just installed Sapphire R7 260X 2GB on my i3 2100 and H61M-S2V-B3
On boot up some vertical coloured lines appear at the left of the screen instead of the Gigabyte logo "see the attached screenshot" , then "loading operating system..." then windows starts normally. I've no other problems as the card performs good in games and so.

I had artificats on my GPU with vertical pink and green lines in bios. It was a dead card basically so I put it in the oven. Awaiting results until I get some thermal compound. Basically putting the PCB part of the gpu in the oven at 195C will resink the solders and could fix the problems. Search up tutorial for baking a gpu if you don't have a warranty and this is your last goodbye

DUDE. i have the same issue. i had the exact same mobo and processor. then i bought this gpu which is second hand and this happened. i wanna buy a new pc where i wanna use this gpu. do u know, what causes this? my gpu performance is very good. is ur gpu still alive or dead?
