I just got a new r90 270x graphics card for early Christmas. I also bought a Lenovo h50 desktop. (Links Below)

I want to put the r90 into the Lenovo , but I was wondering if it can handle the r90?

Or will I need something else to make it run safely, or more effectively. Like do I need to upgrade PSU or something as well? I am fairly new to computer building and was gonna install it myself.

Can I just install it without any complications? And/or is there any upgrades that maybe aren't needed but will boost the effectiveness greatly? Also , if it is good the way it is, what would you say to upgrade next if I could?

THANKS SO MUCH , it really helps!

Looking at it, there is also a very large chance that the 270x will be too long for the case, so before going off and getting a new power supply, you should probably take the side panel off and check if the card will fit without installing it. You should be able to check without uninstalling the old one, just line it up above. For the PSU you will need a standard sized one http://pcpartpicker.com/part/silverstone-power-supply-st50fesb or http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b10600kr would work fine. There are better quality units, and the silverstone is currently untested on http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html but they do not make any units below a tier 3, which should be acceptable in this case.

youre right about it being too long, just opened it up and its too long by about 1 inch. :( maybe even more.

is there a graphics card youd recommend for my Lenovo? I really like the Nvidia ones was thinking about getting the 750 ti , but is there an r90 that will possibly fit? or a better option

Ill see what I can find, the 750 ti is a great option, but would probably still push the limits of the current power supply even at it's low power draw, ill edit this post with some options in a couple mins. Any card from this list is said to be short enough http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/video-card/#l=69,189&c=164,329,208,186,309,147,182,310&sort=a8&page=1 All of them are good brands, and the gtx 950 and r7-370 will perform approximately the same while a 750 ti would be a slight downgrade though all will need a power supply upgrade to run.

The 960 is a great card, and that model will fit well in the tower you have. The 4gb card will not have many performance improvements over the 2 gb card, it simply has more space to store game texture such as the brick pattern on walls or the cobblestone texture on streets, which the requirement is becoming increasingly higher these day, though 2gb is just fine for 1080p gaming these days

as for 960 vs 950, they are very similar in performance, and it mostly comes down to cost and what you are comfortable buying. The 950 usually comes within 80+% of the 960's power in games at close to stock speed.
