Logitech G35 sound quality made me wanna puke but the microphone is good.
I sold my G35 already..I hate it....
It is acceptable for gaming but totally sucks for music and movies.
I dunno about Corsair Vengeance 1400...never tried it..

I am now using V-Moda M100 combined with ASUS Essence Stx 2..now..this combinations rocks for everything...games..movies...music ..I know I am highly unfair towards G35 from price point of view..but that is the reality

I own the logitch g35 and i love it it has great 7.1 virtual surround and the mic is good as far as i can tell. The only dislike is its not very comfortable it hurts my head after about 30 minutes then have to move it to another spot.
