Drag & drop files to a new drive same as cloning for non-OS disk/data-only disk?

I have data stored on a drive that I'd like to upgrade--there is no operating system (or any apps even) on this drive.

Can I just drag & drop the files over? No need to clone, yeah? Is cloning easier? I have Easeus Todo Backup Workstation, which would probably do the trick, but honestly I don't trust it very much.

THANKS!!
J

You could use Teracopy that way it checks to make sure the files get copied correctly or cloning the drive is another option. As long as it is just plain files a plain copy and paste will work but consider using Teracopy because of the CRC check on copied files.

Yes. If you just want all the files from one disk copied onto another one, then yes. Any method will suffice, drag and drop, xcopy, copy and paste, cloning, easeus.. you have thousands of options!
