My CPU states on Intels website that it can accept DDR3 1066/1333, but my motherboard that I'm getting states that it can accept DDR3 2200(OC)/1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules. My CPU is the fastest CPU for the mobo that I'm getting. What is the fastest ram I can get.

Solution

Well, in order to get a 1600 MHz RAM speed, you'd have to install an Intel 22nm (Ivy Bridge).
Also, depending on your operating system, you can get (or not) more or less RAM. If you have a 32-bit windows operating system, you can only get up to 4GB RAM, if you have a 64-bit operating system, you can get as much RAM as your motherboard allows you. Respecting the specifications on both your CPU and MOBO, I'd recommend these: Kingston DDR3 4096MB 1333Mhz
