Recently I had a 700W PSU fail on me and replaced it with a 750W, but in the process of figuring out it was a PSU issue I jumped the mobo and reset the CMOS. Since then under load (gaming and watching youtube videos) my CPU is reaching 95-100C and idling around 45C. I run the CPU at stock. I have a Coolermaster H60 for heat transfer and I just reseated and reapplied thermal paste with no results. I've run Prime 95 once for about 3 minutes. The CPU immediately hit 100C so I stopped it. I've had this processor for 2 years with no issues.

All of these issues started when I tried to install a Transcend 500GB SSD. I installed a new PSU and was able to get the SSD and everything up and running. After this I decided to use HWMonitor to get readings. I was not doing any temp readings before all of the issues. My set up is as follows:

i5 4670K
Asus Z87-A
Corsair 750W PSU CX750M
Corsair Hydro H60
Corsair XMS3 16GB 1600Mhz RAM
Sapphire HD 7870 Ghz Ed.

I'm not really sure where to go from here. I have also turned off Q control on the fans in BIOS.
