Hi guys, i know there are many many threads about this but none seem to help me out. I recently upgraded my RAM from 2x Crucial 8GB sticks to 2x HyperX 8GB Sticks, both DDR3, before i installed the new ram i turned off the power to my computer then removed my CMOS battery to reset the BIOS. I carefully took out the old RAM put in the new ram in the same slots held down the power button for 20sec to removed the remaining power, then put back in the CMOS battery and powered my machine on.
i guess it would be good to note that i am using a ASUS Sabertooth Z87 Mobo and a EVGA GTX 980 GPU.
so anyways, i powered on my machine and my main monitor(using a display port) says "No display port signal" and my second monitor(using HDMI) says "No HDMI signal"... i then reseated my gpu. still nothing. connected the HDMI to the board...still nothing...put back in old RAM....still nothing. My peripherals werent even being recognized either. My Razer Naga wasnt getting lights and neither was my keyboard. no post beeps or anaything. not too sure what happened. really really need help. maybe i shorted it out? not sure, but i may need new board i suspect.
