Hi guys, I just received my new PC build in the mail and long stort short I put it together and now it won't work, and I'm hoping someone here can resolve this without me spending more time and money in this. So heres my specs off the top of my head:

Asrock H81M-HDS Mobo
Intel Core i7 4790k @ 4Ghz (stock)
Corsair H60 (Water Cooling)
EVGA 750w PSU
EVGA GTX 760 SC
Ripjaws 2x4GB

Alright so anyways, when the computer is fully hooked up and put together it will NOT turn on, when I press the power button the power light on the button will flash and all of the fans will spin for about half a second but cut right off and then it will not flash or anything after that like there's no power at all going to it unless I unplug the whole computer and plug it back in after a minute but then it still only acts like it recieves power for half a second. So I played around with it all night last night and I have found that if I take the graphics card out of the computer, the computer will turn on and operates fine, EXCEPT there is no display coming from the onboard graphics, so I can get the computer to power on, but I cannot seem to get display, and even if I were to get it to display, it would still be on onboard graphics which does no use for me.

I have also tried using my other PSU that I am sure works and the same exact thing happens, so I can rule that out as a cause.

Coming from my experience I would suggest I have a DOA mobo, but I would like to say I ordered this mobo over a year ago when I first started planning an i7 build but I just now ordered everything else. So maybe the mobo went bad after sitting in a box for so long, there's also a lithium battery in the mono you can replace, possibly the fix? Thanks guys!

That motherboard requires a bios update to work with that cpu. If the board was newer it'd probably have it but where you've had it for a year, it likely has an older version that doesn't have devils canyon support.
