Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: 2 weeks

Budget Range: $1600-1700

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Heavy Gaming, Developing (Visual Studio, Eclipse,...), Recording/Mixing using Cubase.

Are you buying a monitor: No.

Do you need to buy OS: No

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU Skylake

Overclocking: Yes in the future

SLI or Crossfire: Probably Not, Maybe in the future, don't might changing PSU if it happens.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080, 60Mhz, 24" Monitor.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My system is about 10 years old, struggles to run anthing.

Additional Comments:
OK Guys, here is the deal, I'm building a new system and I want it to be strongest as possible.
Budget is about $1600-1700 (Prices are usually higher in my country i'm afraid, so I will convert your builds to NIS and see if i can afford it :), i can also stretch the budget if needed and performance is worth it.

2 Components that I have already purchased and Have to be in the final build are:
Sandisk Ultra II 960GB SSD - $244
Gigabyte GTX970 OC Windforce 3 - $335

Now here is what i've thought about:
CPU - i5-6600k / i7-6700k (if budget will suffice).

MoBo - Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming-3 / ASUS Z170-PRO-Gaming / MSI Z170A-KRAIT-GAMING.

Memory - I'm not sure what to choose here, the price differences between the lowest and higher clocks is pretty low in here, is there any reason NOT to go for 3000-3200Mhz? Anyway, here are some of the options available here:
HyperX 16GB(2x8) 2666Mhz CL15 / Crucial Ballistix 16GB(4x4) 2400Mhz / G.Skill Ripjaws 4/5 16GB(2x8) 2800Mhz/3000Mhz CL15.

Case - Again, not sure what to choose here, I care about it not being too dusty, having nice cooling and as quiet as possible.
I do NOT care about looks, pretty colors nor windows.
Some of the cases available here that i've put my eye on:
Antec P100, Corsair 200R/300R/400R, Enermax Ostrog GT, Fractal Design S/R4/R5, NZXT Phantom 410, Zalman Z11-Neo.

Cooling - would take your recommendation here and search my country for it. The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO seems nice and in good price but i did not find it yet in my country. Also very liking the Noctua NH-D14 but it's VERY pricey...

PSU - Once again, not sure what to choose here, It seems that 650W~ would suffice to such a system, I care about a quality PSU and not a generic one, also power consumption is an issue but don't let it blow the budget...

HDD - I'm not sure I need a hard drive with 1TB SSD, do you agree? Is there anything I'm missing here? If so, 1TB-1.5TB should suffice, I would not need a lot of storage beside the SSD.
Also if this is what blows the budget, I can take my HDD from my old station - hoping not to do it though.

I'm not even sure those parts are in compatibility with one another :)

The plan is to play games on high-highest graphics with 60FPS+ (GTA V, Battlefield, MMORPG's that are heavy on the CPU like Guild Wars 2 and WildStar).

This system should last for years to come, with the future upgrade of GPU and maybe more RAM.

I also don't mind buying online from abroad as long as it's worth it and the source is reliable.

Sorry for the long message :) It's really important for me to not overkill anything buy not to cut anything too important.

go with a seasonic G series for a power supply. they are cheaper and of the same tier.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151132&cm_re=seasonic_g-_-17-151-132-_-Product

or the seasonic X series which is a tier one power supply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151088&cm_re=seasonic-_-17-151-088-_-Product

and with the extra saved go for a Cryorig R1 Ultimate. ( cooler )

although kingston makes some great ram, its always more expensive when other brands work just the same. Id say, save a little and pick up these ( g skill ripjaws )

Thanks for replying!

Would M12II-620 620W Modular Bulk do the trick? There is a sale on it, and (correct me if i'm wrong) it's on the 2nd Tier - "M12-II EVO (fully modular) Seasonic ".

About the RAM, where I live, I can actually get the HyperX Fury DDR4 Series in 2133/2400/2666/2800/3000 for cheaper than the alternatives (G.Skill, Crucial, ...). Which one should I go for in this build?

I'd also rather not spend so much on a cooler, I do not plan some heavy OC in the near future...

Thanks!

I would like to invest in the new platform though (1151),
I can see that "older" platforms are still the same performance-wise and a lot cheaper, but I do plan on upgrading this build in the future, when prices do go down...
