Any feedback would be great. Thanks
ps.(could some tell me what Some AMD A78 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaveri CPUs means)

Solution
I didn't know when you bought the board and it depends on when the board was made by MSI, not when you bought it. You need to check the BIOS version of your board against the compatibility list on the web-site. http://us.msi.com/product/motherboard/support/A78M-E35.html#support-cpu and see which version you have. You will be able to use your existing CPU to update it if necessary.

You will not have to replace the motherboard only to update its BIOS. If you have no plans to overclock, then you are fine. The PSU still needs attention.
Those older boards were built before the Kaveri 860K was released, so the BIOS my not handle the chip. Since you have a 'going concern' you can take care of that first. You existing board is OK, but not really for overclocking. The power phases are not really up to it.

I'd want a higher performance PSU as an early priority. The new GPU is going to give it a beating it may not take for long.

Thanks for the advice but wasnt the 860 k released in august last year and i bought my board around december time so shouldnt the board be updated to handle it ? I really wouldnt like to go all out on a mother board and psu and have no money left for anything that could actually give me better performance.Like i said im tight on money and shipping is taking a massive chunk out of my budget.
