Laptop with
CPU - intel core i7-2670QM
GPU - nvidia geforce gt 540m 2 GB
motherboard - I have no idea, not written anywhere in the manual/box or on the laptop itself
RAM - 6GB 1.5v
4 gb 2Rx8 PC3 10600S 09-10-FP
2 gb 1Rx8 10600S 09-11-B2

Question:
Is 4gb 1Rx8 pc3l-12800s 11-12-B4 1.35V compatible with this spec and can it replace the 2gb that are already installed, so the ram can increase from 6gb to 8gb?
I've checked that this model of samsung can operate on 1.35v as on 1.5v so the voltage is not a problem and I understand that since this model is 1600mhz and the original installed is 1333mhz, it will downclock to 1333mhz.. But I still can't answer my real question, will the two 4gb's ram work at all together without any harm or damage caused and will it increase or decrease performace of the pc.

The possible RAM is dependent upon the motherboard. If 1600 speed is not supported, then the RAM speed setting will be decreased to a supported speed (probably 1333 as you noted). It is not recommended to install mismatched RAM.

Would it cause harm? No, but it probably will not work either.

It is best to get Ram that is exactly the same (to add more RAM) or to upgrade to a matched set of the speed & capacity that you want. RAM is relatively cheap. So there isn't a good reason not do so.

Here are some examples of laptop RAM.

This is the exact model of the laptop and everything matches but I can't seem to find what kind of motherboard it uses.
