Hello! I'm looking at getting a new GPU. My motherboard is a ga-78lmt-usb3 (According to CPU-Z) and my CPU is the AMD FX-8350 @ 4GHz. I was wondering if there would be any compatibility issues or bottleneck if I were to get a Gtx 980ti 6GB (Which I know is a bit of a jump from my Gtx 640 1GB). Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Edit: I have a mid-tower case and 16gigs of RAM if that is of any help

It is compatible. It has a pci x16 slot running at 16x which it what that card requires. I dont think youll have to worry about bottlenecks, that processor should be just fine.

Bottlenecks really depend on the game though. For example, arma 3 is extremely cpu intensive. You have have triple 980ti sli and still be getting 40fps. But for 99% of games you wont have to worry.
