Wondering if any part of this is overkill, or the other way, bottlenecked, in this setup.

First time I've looked into a custom build like this.

Intel Core i7 5820K Extreme

32GB Corsair 3200mhz Vengeance LPX DDR4 (probably overkill, right? But it was the same price as the lower version so..)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB

850W Corsair RMx Fully Modular

Asus X99-PRO/USB3.1 motherboard

Any others you need?

Thanks

Okay, thanks.
As I said I might as well have 32GB as it's the same price for 16GB at the same speed and make and everything - don't get why, but whatever.. or does it not work like that and it'd just be better to have less ram?

As for the cpu and board, I'll look into them

32GB is the same price as 16GB?
Where are you buying this?

Meaning this is a 'prebuilt' PC.
I'm not holding out much hope for the rest of it being good, or up to whatever price they are charging....:(

They're not giving that extra RAM to you for free...;)

It's the cheapest prebuild thing seen though
And I don't have enough knowledge to build a pc from scratch as it were. I know the basics.
Nor do I have tools for that matter :p
But yeah atm the build is around £2600 with monitor speakers keyboard and stuff..
Seems well priced - hopfully not at the expense of shoddy bodge jobs :s
