ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0 Won't Boot, Tried Just About Everything

I bought this new motherboard after I spilled some water on my computer about 6 months ago, and it worked over the first 4 months. However, I've been having this problem consistently for almost 2 months and I have been dealing with ASUS customer support for their RMA process. I would like to say that they have been professional and courteous, but they have not been able to solve the problem.

The Problem:
Upon startup, the motherboard will beep once (VGA detected, Quick Boot disabled, no keyboard detected) and the Boot Device LED will turn on and be consistently on. The screen will display "Please press DEL or F2 to enter UEFI BIOS setting" and then nothing will happen. The keyboard numlock will turn on, but pressing the delete or F2 key does nothing. The system will hang like this until the machine is turned off and it will happen every time the computer is turned on.

The System:
ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0 Motherboard
AMD FX-8120 CPU
16GB (4 x 4GB) KomputerBay DDR3 RAM
EVGA Geforce GTX 460SE GPU
Crucial MX100 256GB SSD (Boot with Windows 10 Pro)
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB HDD
Samsung HD103SI 1TB HDD
Corsair GS600 600W PSU

The Attempts:
I tried rebuilding the system outside of the case with a single stick of RAM, just the boot drive, no extra stuff, no change.
I tried the keyboard on a different system, it worked fine.
I tried different keyboards, PS/2 and USB, no change.
I tried resetting the RAM with the MEMOK button, no change.
I tried every SATA port and every SATA cable with the boot drive, no change.
I tried using the same boot drive in my friend's computer, and it worked first try, every time.
I tried to update the BIOS using the BIOS Flashback USB method, the BIOS updated twice and would not update after that. No change.
I tried resetting the CMOS, both the RTC and the battery, no change.
I tried booting direct to BIOS with the "DirectKey" but it would first show the error, and never get to BIOS.
I tried booting from a USB, no port worked to boot from USB.
I tried removing power and unplugging everything to drain any excess power from the system for a week, no change.
I tried moving the CPU fan to a different plug, and this was the only thing that changed anything. Twice randomly, the CPU was detected as overheating, and it would pop up with a different error, which would make the keyboard work, and the error could be exited and then Windows could boot up. But the computer would randomly crash and the keyboard could not bring up task manager, which forced the computer to be reset, and the original error would remain.
I returned the motherboard to ASUS for the RMA, no change.
I returned the motherboard again for a second RMA, no change.
I contacted ASUS and did a "Cross-Ship" RMA where they gave me a new motherboard, and here's the weird thing, THE PROBLEM IS STILL HERE.

Moving Forward:
At this point, I don't know what it could be. When I got the new motherboard, the CPU fan did the same thing it had before and caused a different error. I checked the BIOS and only 8 GB of the RAM was detected. I tried a single stick in each slot individually, and the two slots closest to the CPU (DIMM_A1 and DIMM_A2) will not recognize any of my RAM. I was able to exit and boot to windows, and it said "16 GB ram, 8 GB usable" so I have no clue what's wrong with that. I think it could be the Processor or some strange problem in the system that I haven't accounted for yet, but I have no idea what to try now. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I agree with Calvin
Get a kit of ram from a reputable company. G. Skill, Kingston, Corsair are my recommendations.
With personal experience, never short change yourself with cheap hardware. It will destroy all your other hardware down the track when it eventually fails.

I went and borrowed 2 sticks of ram from a friend that he uses in his machine, and they still didn't work in the A1 or A2 slots, and when they were in the B1 and B2 (the working slots), the same error still popped up and prevented me from getting to BIOS or booting.

My computer has a similar problem and I agree that it is related the M5A99FX Pro R2.0.
I had had a desktop with Asus M5A78L-M USB3 and Kingston SSDnow 300 SSD 240G drive with Windows 10 x64 installed.
Almost a year later, the MB failed, which was replaced with Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0. Yesterday, about 5 months later, I was unable to reboot the computer without any prior warning. I thought the problem was due to the SSD failure and replaced it with the back up SSD disc, which was a SanDisk SSD Plus.
I was able to boot from it once and it failed to boot again. I replace it with a Seagate SATA drive and everything seems to be working well.

I have to think that there is a problem with the Asus mother board and wrote to the Asus surpost team.
The contents of both the SSD disks are without any problem.

I want to share my experience with the original poster and any others who may be interested in such a problem.
