Hi there,
I have a Dell Dimension 9100 (Win7) with a main 750GB hard drive, and decided to add a secondary 1.5TB drive for storage. So after plugging it in and seeing it in My Computer, I went to My Pictures / properties and changed the directory to the new E: drive. A window opened and asked if I wanted to transfer the files to the new drive, so I clicked yes. After about 5 minutes all 12GB were transferred and even show in the new drive's properties, but when I went to check them there was nothing but empty folders. It's been about 3 hours since then and the HDD light has been on solid the whole time, and now some of the folders show pictures (which can't be opened) and the rest of the page shows .JPG files with a blank thumbnail. Also the green "loading bar" never goes all the way across, it just hangs near the end.

The main drive was purchased new about 2 years ago, and the 1.5TB was already used but passed all the tests and was formatted in NTFS. Do you think all my pictures are gone? I don't want to restart the computer in case something is still happening. Please help!

EDIT: If I open a program like Nero Media Home, it shows all the pictures in their original C: drive folder. But if I go there with Windows it can't see anything.

Also, if I right click the new My Pictures folder, it says there's only 1.2GB there. But the drive shows all 12GB.

I ran a check disk, and Windows said it fixed file system errors and put restored files in a folder called Found. But no such folder exists and the pictures are still missing! Can anyone please help with this?
