I have a thermaltake VF1000BWS and according to their Q&A(http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/products-model_support.aspx?id=C_00000254) a 100mm cooler will fit and is the absolute max height but is not recommended and a 80mm cooler is. I'm trying to get good cooling for my 1100t and im looking at possibly 3 solutions for a better cooler compared to stock.
How does the zalman cnps 8900 quiet compare to the Noctua NH-L12 with both fans (93mm height) or a Noctua NH-D9L which is a tower style only 110mm tall but if I swap out the 92mm fan with a 80mm it should fit?
lastly they mention the orb series, could a blue orb II cool a 1100t?
