Dual WAN and possible IP conflicts

Hello everyone,
I apologize in advance for my bad english :pt1cable:
I would like to create a a home network based on a dual wan (or multi wan in the future) in load balance configuration. I will use two Mikrotik SXT Lite 5 antennas (they are given to me by the wireless operator and I can't change them). The problem is that each antenna HAS THE SAME IP ADDRESS (192.168.22.1) and I can't change it because I don't have the password to log into them... In your opinion could this be a problem or multi wan routers can handle it? Do I have to buy a specific router or can I choose a cheap one like TP-Link TL-R470T+?
Thanks in advance

When you go dual-WAN you may have exceeded the expertise of this forum. Do you want load-balance outbound AND inbound?

Am very rusty but one way to load-balance outbound will require two different subnets at the modem(s), and no home router is gonna load-balance, you must buy a business or enterprise class router with multiple ethernet ports to hook up your modems. The router will have ethernet1 hook up to modem1, and ethernet2 hook up to modem2. The IP of the modems (must be different subnet) are your 2 GATEWAYS. The expensive router then will direct traffic to the appropriate gateway based on its load algorithm, and keep those sessions there.

Inbound load-balancing, that's even more complex and heck if I remember that stuff.

You may be better off working with the ISP to see if they have a method to combine the devices.

You likely will not be happy even if you manage to get both connection active. I will ignore the issue that both radios connect to the same ISP tower.

When you have multiple internet connections you can not combine them together for a single session. Let say you combine 2 2m connections. You can not watch say a netlflix movie that needs 4m but you could watch 2 movies that each need 2m. Even when you are content to have it run some traffic on one and other traffic on the other you still have a major issue. Your traffic will appear to come from 2 ip addresses. The common one that causes issues is a game company. If you log into the authentication server with one ip and then try to use the game server with the other ip it will be detected as a hack and not work. This can be fixed with lots of tedious configuration to make sure traffic flows correct.

So lets assume you still want to do this.

To solve the IP problem it is just a matter of placing another router in between on of the routers. You can use a cheap wired only router and let it get the wan address of 192.1.22.x and then use a different lan subnet.

So now you have 2 different networks. You can hook a dual nic pc one to each and use the ROUTE command to use both or you can buy a dual wan router and put this between your 2 device and your lan. You woiuld end up with 2 radio things, 1 router to fix the ip, and a dual wan router.

BUT before you start this realize you can't really effectively use 2 ISP connection.

At my previous employer (energy trading company with 7 employees), we had 2 ISPs. One we considered a primary provider, and the other was a backup because we couldn't afford to be "down" during trading hours. We bought an expensive (around $1,000 if I recall) Zyxel switch (or maybe it was a router), and after many hours of tinkering and back and forth with the ISPs, our IT expert was able to get it to manage/load balance incoming traffic. It was a long and difficult process, but necessary for our business. When the primary T1 went down, we were all seamlessly transferred to the backup provider. The only thing we did differently when on the backup was to log out of You-tube, iheart radio, and non-business related websites until the primary ISP came back.

I am certainly not an expert, but it can be done, but not easily.

Oh ABSOLUTELY. When millions of people go GOOGLE, we don't hit one Tera Hertz server, it gets load-balanced by Google's multiple data centers.

What scare me is, when home users have this, just nifty idea, until you ask them to show the wallet.
