i recently upgraded my pc to an i5 4690k and msi z97s krait sli motherboard from my old fx 6300. i have a gtx 970 and usually get around 60 fps when playing crysis 3 maxed, if i leave my pc on for a total time of around 5-6 hours the framerate decreases to around 25-35fps, this happens even if the game has not been running in that duration, i did overclock it after an hour or so of playing around with it (and i did upgrade to windows 10 pro before using the pc) everything appeared to be fine (did not benchmark for a long period of time!) then i overclocked, i got a performance gain and i was happy about it until the next day came around turned on the pc, i began to play crysis 3 for benchmarking purposes and after around an hour or so i tabbed out of the game only to find when i returned to the game it was running at a much reduced framerate, same with dying light where the fps hovers at arounf 36 fps and gta 5 at around 45, this can be fixed temporarily when i reboot look around in the bios and then save the changes and return to play, and then after a while the same issues occur, does anybody else have this issue and is there any way i can resolve it? help would be much appreciated! thankyou :), i also know that is not throttling as the cpu is running at around 50-60oc when gaming at a 4.4ghz overclock on my hyper 212 evo!

i think i fixed it now but thanks, it was just gpu power limitations that caused the issue, if it returns i will check this, but considering i am running a whole new OS on a recently formatted pc i do not believe that would be the issue, regardless thankyou for your time regardless of if it resolved the issue, thankyou :D also nice mobo, used to have it for my 6300 :)
