Ok, so the thing is that I bought that mobo 2 weeks ago, and I was planing to buy the FX-8320 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition Processor, so I thought that as long as the motherboard has the AM3+ compatibility should work fine, but according to some comments that I've been reading it says that the chipset that the mother should have in order to use this Processor at full power is the t 970, 990X or 990FX, and this mobo has the 760g, but for now I don't really care if the processor will work at a 100%, as long as it works it's okay for me. Will it work just fine? or do I really need to buy another mobo? because if I have to it's fine, but it's not something that I was thinking about just now..., so what I wanted to do with this mobo is to buy this processor, with these rams Kingston-HyperX-FURY-2x8GB-1600MHz, and also with this GPU

http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Version-PCI-Express-Graphics-11217-01-20G/dp/B00B3WTWXU/ref=sr_1_fkmr3_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449133711&sr=8-1-fkmr3&keywords=amd+r9+290x+2gb

Will it work all that in that mobo? I'm not the kind of guy who is used to build pcs, actually I've had a core 2 quad with 4gb of ram with a really cheap GPU, so as long as this pc that I'm trying to build works, I will feel like if I completely change my world, (you know what would it be to change your processor from a really old quad core to an actual 8 core processor? xD) and if all this works, what power supply would you guys recommend me to buy? and will I need an special cooling system with this? or just a fan would be okay?

I will really appreciate your help :)

I'm sorry, I'll draw myself out of your main point a little bit. AMD is a brand that usually sucks all the power it can. The FX-8320 consumes 125W and the Sapphire Radeon R9 270X will spend about 180W so on those 2 parts it's already 300W of power consumption. I usually think of AMD as a brand to go with low budget builds. For more expensive builds that keep in mind greater performance, I'd go with Nvidia & Intel as they deliver as much performance (if not more) as AMD at less power consumption which is great. Concerning the motherboard you bought, I'd pick CPUs like the FX-4300 or the FX-6300 that have 95 TDP. As for the GPU, it's ok but it would bottleneck the CPU I suppose so I'd go with something like the R7 260X. If you really want to buy the FX-8320 and the Sapphire R9 270X you will need a good cooling system and a new motherboard. I'd recommend this one : Asus SABERTOOTH AMD 990FX. It would support both your CPU and GPU as well as the RAM. It is one of the best motherboards on the AM3 socket out there in my opinion. Best of luck!

Ok, I see. thank you for your answer! I'm completely new in this kind of stuff, so I just bought the wrong mobo to begin with huh? hmmmm, and I would like to know, what could happen if I use this processor with a nvidia graphic card instead of that amd saphire, Amd & Nvidia can be used together right? Would it make any difference? and yeah, I see a lot of comments of people recommending another mobo because of the chipset, they recommend a 970 chipset at least, but what could happen if I use this processor in this mobo? because I was just looking in the internet and I found this page https://pcpartpicker.com/builds/by_part/asus-motherboard-m5a78lmusb3
of some people building their pcs with the same mobo, and I'm looking that they used the same processor and with a really good graphics cards , (and a great cooling system as far as I see) What if I buy a nvidia card instead?the GTX 960 for example? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that you're answer is wrong or anything, I'm a completely noob about this stuff, so i'm actually just making my opinion of the things that i'm seen on the internet, it's just that I bought this mobo from ebay, so it took like 2 months to arrive, and I think there's no way to return it, and if there's a way, most likely It would be a pain xD. so I will need to do something with this mobo and I really wanted to have that processor. but If I really need to buy another mobo, I guess that i will need to sell this one to a friend or something, so I'm just trying to make the things work with this mobo. Thank you for taking some of your time reading this. Appreciate it. :)

As far as I know the only thing you've bought so far is the motherboard right? So I think you should build your computer around it since the motherboard is the centre of everything else. AMD CPU & Nvidia GPU works but I always think that AMD & AMD and Intel & Nvidia are the greatest combos. Try to pick parts that are balanced around what you already have (the motherboard), if you buy something really expensive and that works at extreme while other parts are not so good, eventually it will bottleneck and you don't want that (no one does).
