Can I Use a pair of DDR3 4GB 1333MHz RAM on a G41M-P25 mobo that can only support 1066MHz when not OC'd

Based on MSI's website I need to OC my mobo to use 1333MHz of RAM but i dont know how so Im sticking with 1066. It can only support 8GB of RAM anyway so Im planning to buy a pair of 4GB Ram. The problem is the store here in Manila that im going to buy the RAM from. only has 1333Mhz DD3 Ram available so Im not completely sure if the mobo will just downgrade the speed or not. Please help dudes/dudettes.

my proc is a Intel core2quad q9400 on a g41m-p25 mobo

Make sure it's compatible. If it's a newer line of DRAM using the high density memory ICs you may be out of luck, see if they carry the older GSkill NT series of value DRAM which has the older low density memory ICs
