I have purchased a new case the nzxt 530. I have everything installed fine. But my single gpu (Gigabyte 980, x3 windforce) doesn't fit into the backslot behind the motherboard in the case.
I think it has something to do with the lip on the backplate being in the wrong place.
Help.
Thanks
I'll give all the pictures you need.

They can be tricky sometimes. Try to bend them out towards the inputs on the back of the card just slightly so it can slide in more easily and you avoid anything interfereing. If that still doesn't work try to see what's hitting. If it's too thick then I'd take a file and file down the top and bottom of those tabs until they slide in, but they should fit. That's a standard.

I feel so dumb, they were so slightly bent out of position.
One more question. Would it be safe for me to run 2 power cables to my gpu. My new psu only comes with the a 6 pin to 6+2 cables. And my gpu requires to of those. Is that safe?

Which PSU do you have? That card needs two 8-pin connectors. Most PSUs do so by creating the 6+2 cables incase you have a 6-pin on your GPU instead of a 8-pin. If your PSU doesn't have two 6+2 or at least two 6-pin connectors it might be too under powered to run that card.
