Intermittent internet connection

When using the ethernet connection on my HP pavilion p.c. the internet turns on and off every couple of minutes. Using WiFi it works fine. Have Realtek PCiFE controller. Windows 10

May have a loose connection. Check the ends of your cable to make sure the locking tab isn't broken off. You can also download the latest drivers for your network card. An out of date driver can cause issues.
