Hi,

Recently I decided to upgrade from 8GB to 16GB, I made sure to buy the same type of RAM (DD3), but after installing my new RAM, windows won't boot (and nothing appears on either of my screens*)
Old RAM: http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=83696&promoid=1029
New RAM:

Motherboard:

*I bought a new monitor at the same time as well, but even on my old monitor which I connected properly again, nothing shows up on either of them.

I think my problem is the voltage, or speed of my new RAM that's causing this problem.
Since nothing shows up on my screens I can't edit anything on my computer, I tried plugging in my headphones and listening for the welcome sound when your computer finishes turning on, but nothing, so I'm inferring that Windows is not booting.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Do you still have the old RAM, and if so have you verified that the PC will still boot if you switch back to that? Also, I would consider trying a live CD or bootable USB of MemTest or a similar utility which will test your ram - if you can boot into it.
