Ok, so here i am with another upgrade and now stuck on what to choose.
here are my current pc specs:
Cpu:i5-4690k@4.7ghz
MOBO:z97 pro4
PSU:nev750..?
GPU: MSI Gtx 970
SSD: 850 evo
HDD: seagate 1TB

Im looking to get an ultrawide monitor but one gtx 970 is not gonna let me play max settings while staying above 60fps...

to sli them would require me having to get a completely new motherboard and if im to do that i might as well upgrade to skylake which i dont exactly want rn as my Oc'ed 4690k is most likely faster and it would cost close to 600 just the upgrade to skylake

Therefore my only option would be to re-sell my gtx 970 and get a new gpu.

Ive decided that a gtx 980 ti would absolutely be perfect for this as when the time comes i will be able to sli them! :D

Ive also thought of some amd options but that would require me getting a new powersupply and ive had some pretty bad experiences with amd :/

im now debating on getting the evga gtx 980 Ti hybrid or the zotac Gtx 980 ti AMP extreme
I will most likely be overclocking

here are some links:

and

Anyways im open to suggestions so feel free to offer alternative routes and other brands :) and thanks!

Well that depends entirely on your budget and the desire to overclock. If you're willing to spend a lot of money and overclock your GPU to the max then Hybrid will provide very good load temps whilst Zotac might run substantially hotter and louder although the difference-to-price ration is not worth it imo. I'd go with Zotac to save you some money plus both of those cards will give you great performance with an ultrawide monitor.

How well do you think it will do on a 3440x1440p 21:9 monitor??
