Today I installed a new water cooler on my graphics card (only on gpu, not cpu). Previously to this, the entire system worked fine. When I turn on the pc after installing water block, radiator and pump, it won't display anything on the screen. No signal.

So, thinking it was the GPU, I took it out, installed a old GPU (though the drivers are not installed), and still, I get no signal.

Then I plug the HDMI into my mobo, and use the built in Intel Graphics, and it works.

By the way, the fans on the GPU spins, so it is powered. It just doesn't display anything.
I also tried to plug the card into the Pcie below the primary one.

Are there anyone who have had a similar problem?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Specs : 980ti Zotac, mobo is msi z77a-g43, Intel 3570k, 750W PSU

Thank you for answering! I read this as a solution in another thread as well, but I can't find that option anywhere in the BIOS of my mobo. The only thing I can find that says something about PCIE is in - Settings - Advanced - PCIE subsystem settings -- And from there I can change PCI Latency Timer or PCIE GEN3 (Auto or Disabled)

Thank you again! Sadly it was already set to PEG. So that can't be the problem apparently. Could it be something wrong with the PCIE slot on the motherboard? Or would the fans not spin up at all then?

I dont have any speaker or lights on my motherboard unfortunately. But I will try to change the PSU, and put in the old GPU, and if that doesn't work, I guess its the motherboard.. Thank you for trying to help! :)
