Hello, I am in need of assistance in making the cheapest PC possible, this PC will be only used for university work and playing world of warcraft, i have a console so i will ONLY play WoW on this pc, it would be nice if it ran at 60fps at medium settings at least. :)

Solution

Take a look at this build and let me know if this fits your budget.

Note: I didn't select an operating system or optical drive

Clearly you are not familiar with the term "Steam Christmas Sale"
I will help you if you explain to me what the word "only" means to you.

Dear sir,

An Intel Core i5-6600K with an nVidia GeForce GTX 970 is the price/performance leader right now. Do you know how to pick the rest of the parts?

Thank you.

Wow. What a catty attitude. His original post was pretty clear. He's going to use the computer for campus work and WoW.

It would be helpful if you let us know what your budget is. What's is the absolute MOST you are willing to spend on this machine?

Yes, I am a cat.
My attitude-given was for lack of information. NekoMeko obviously has a budget and some specific parts he has in mind. In fact it's obvious he's made some decisions already. Like the 250x.

The i5/970 was just to sense the pulse, see where you stand on budget and choice of CPU/GPU.

Meko...you give a little, you get a lot. You give nothing...you get little......information that is.
