I have an MSI crappy board but with an Q6600 at 1333 Fsb I can play CS GO at decent frames.
Problems started when I bought some 4 Gb Ram Stick DDR3 Single Channel at 1600 CL11 PC3-12800, I thought it can run as my board says it should carry 1333 OC MHz on Ram, With the stick in the first slot after power up no image on monitor only 3 beeps and that's all.

With the ram sticks I have are 2 kingmax 1333 Mhz OC 2 Gb each dual channel.
Using speecy I noticed that ram should be at 1066Mhz, but its 1066 Mhz for both not each at 1066, but both at 533 Mhz.
Same as another guy if I set them to 1333 the pc wont boot up.

Solution
533 speed x2 is 1066. some memory readers will read 1066/533 or 1600/800. with 1600 speed ram and older mb if the ram code not in the mb bios it can sometime have issue posting. i would contact the ram seller and return it or exchange it for slower working ram.
