Have I fried my motherboard?

Ok so call me paranoid and I would really agree with you. I am just waiting on a few more parts to arrive before I can finally start my pc build. The motherboard arrived just recently and upon opening it to see if all was well, I noticed some colour variances. Now that isn't my concern here (as they were just from the tinted anti static bag), when checking the actual colour of the motherboard, I removed it from the anti static bag, meaning that I did have to touch the mobo to pull it out. Now my room is pretty much only carpet and I walked about a meter and back again to grab the box, before opening it on my bed. I did this twice to show my room mate the difference in colour however only now do I realise that I could have possibly fried the board from static electricity. Is this truly possible from a short walk to and from and by just touching it a few times?

It is my first build and I am quite concerned about stuffing it up here... :/

TL: DR I walked on carpet, pulled out my new mobo from it's anti static bag to inspect and put it back twice. Am I an idiot or will all be well?

Solution
Motherboards do have ESD protections built in especially on modern day motherboard and graphics cards. Simply by touching a few times wont kill your motherboard only by doing some deliberate ESD charges by any device can damage the motherboard or graphics cards. You are safe :)

Haha thankyou for that, as you know it is my first build and I am just quite nervous as it was a very large investment. But thankyou for eliminating those suspicions :)

Thankyou for your reply, I wish I could mark this as a solution as well :) Thanks for eliminating the paranoia here :p
