Hi all,

i'm a guy who assembled a (mainly gaming focused) desktop for the first time, and, doing some research, i pulled it out somehow. Here's the specs:

CPU:intel core i7-4790k 4.0GHz
CPU COOLER: stock
MOBO: gigabyte ga z97x gaming 5
GPU: gigabyte nvidia geforce gtx 970 g1 gaming 4GB
RAM: corsair vengeance pro 16GB 1600MHz (height 52.5mm)
CASE: itek destroyer mid tower (supports 160mm as heatsink height)

---just to be complete---
SSD: kingston 120GB
HDD: seagate barracuda 1TB
PSU: corsair CX750 750W

as the title syas, my big mistake was the CPU cooler. I tried to run Rainbow Six: Siege and my CPU temperature went straight up to 70-77°C while playing, with an average of 50-60% CPU usage (i'll put this info as well, i think it's ok, but if anyone finds it strange, any help will be appreciated :D ), while the GPU was sitting there at 60°C laughing at its misery...

Then, my question is: may i ask you some help regarding the coice of a CPU cooler (i just saw the Noctua nh-D15, but it seems it does not fit inside the case by damn 5mm...), with a convenient price/performance features (my budget would preferably be 90€ at max.), and that is able to fit inside my case, not giving issues with RAM and GPU (take into account this one is in the upper slot)?

Sorry for my poor English speaking skills, please tell me if i forgot some details.

Solution
Actually your big mistake was that power supply. CX line is not very good, and the CX 750 is the worst of the bunch. I suggest switching it out for a tier 1 or tier 2 unit, as soon as possible. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

For cooler, this should do well for you.
