New build for Gaming at High/ultra settings on a 2k monitor

Hi everyone, I am needing some advice. I am to finally upgrade my system after 5 years. I want a PC that will be able to play this gen and next gen titles such as Fallout 4 and Assassins Creed (ideally) on Ultra if not high.

I did have a budget of £1500 (it is currently a little over, if you check the link to a PC Part Picker build).

So a few questions in regards to this build:

Will this i5 6600k bottleneck a 980/980ti?

Would a 980 be sufficient enough to game on this monitor and play games on high settings?

Is there anyway I can save on this build? (I am using a CM Storm Scout 2 Advanced Case and an AX 760 PSU)

Also I have Windows 10 on my machine at the moment, will I be able to use this without having to purchase another licence?

Please feel free to edit this build I am open to recommendations :)

Edit: This is what I have whittled it down to. what do you think? Should I get an i7 6700k or would I see no difference in gaming?

NO

YES , however i would prefer also 980ti if you want to max out games at 1440p keeping fps above 60

YES, but not much

Also I have Windows 10 on my machine at the moment, will I be able to use this without having to purchase another licence?
im afraid that you will not be able to keep it if it was an upgrade from a previous win7/8 installation...

if going with 6700k forces you to go with a weaker gpu then dont. and make sure you have an ssd for OS.
