MSI Z170A Gaming M5, Red light, Really need help

Hi all, I just finish my build, but when I plug in, turn on the power supply, the motherboard light red. Don't know what happen. This is my first build, it took me 7 hours.... So tired right now.

Only red light, nothing eles, no power led, no fun spin, only dead red.

One thing with the cable connector I am not sure is the cable has a CPU mark on it. But I did not find any information for where should I plug in on this motherboard.

Really need help, thank you in advance. :)

Well congratz in buiding your new pc, first you we need more info of your pc what kind of hardware you have, from video card until cpu as psu.
The first you should do is unplugged everything and just plugged for run the bios without hard drive cd rom, one slot of ram if you two, and check if happen the same.
Also what do you mean witht eh cable connector, what cable connector do you refer, if is power connector check the page 33 of your manual I just read it, but you must be specific what cable. I know you are tired the best is to rest a few, read the manual each step and try again.

Thank you for your reply. For the cable, it just named the Word CPU on it, and I find there is a CPU 1 slot at my EVGA G2 PSU, But I am not sure where shouild I plug the cable in.
