Will these components fit/work

I'm looking for an upgrade to my PC.I want to swap out my MoBo Processor and RAM but I don't know if the new ones will work with the parts that I won't change.

New items:

Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4590 Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.70 GHz)
MoBo: MSI B85-G41 PC Mate / Intel® B85 / Socket 1150 / ATX
RAM: CRUCIAL MEMORY DIMM 4GB PC12800 DDR3/CT51264BA160BJ

items that won't be replaced:

GPU: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 4GB DDR3 VGA/DVI/HDMI PCI-Express Video Card
PSU: PSU 500W Fortron FSP500-60HHN
Case: Gygabyte Chassis GZ - F2

What was your original CPU? Because if you haven't bought your parts yet I highly suggest a new GPU. And yes, your parts should work. I also suggest 8 GB of RAM (unless you are buying a 4 GB stick to add to a 4 GB stick you already have).

at the moment I have a I3 - 2120 (I really need a new cpu) and RAM i'm planning to buy 2 sticks of 4gb
