SLI not working on zotac gtx970

Every time I open the nvidia control panel the option to maximize graphics is greyed out and the checkbox for 'disable sli' is the only clickable option. At the bottom where it shows my two video cards(Identical gtx970s) it says to connect the SLI bridge connector. The bridge connector IS connected. I switched its orientation to ensure I didn't have it backwards.

The video cards actually appear to have two spots you can connect a bridge connector to, Identical tabs sticking up, but the manual only mentions one connector.

Hi, I have the same probleme here : 2x Zotac GTX 970 with a GA-Z97X-GAMING 3 motherboard, and SLI is not detected even though both card are detected and work fine separatly. I spent hours on forum to figure out something, but without success. Did you resolve your problem ?

Hi, I finally sent my hardware to the after-sales service and it appears that one of the graphic card was defective.
