My Boot Priority Order Isn't showing my hard drive as an option. The only option that is avaliable is "windows boot manager" and that does nothing. I am not able to boot into windows at all, so I have no idea what to do. Bios however does list my hard drive under "AHCI Port1" and I have no Idea what that means. Please help!!

If you have one available try replacing the SATA data cable and trying a different SATA port on the motherboard. After that take a look at your BIOS again and see if the drive shows up on the boot priority options.

with the newer efi bios they look for the windows boot manager on the primany drive. (windows restore and system folder has these files). if the system is new and has no files on it under boot go to hard drives and set the usb stick as first boot device. if your not using a usb stick then go to cd rom and set that as first boot device. in the bios look t osee if only efi is turned on. to boot from older cd rom and use stick you have to turn on legacy boot device under boot in the bios.

I have a Mini ITX Mobo, and there is no other Sata port/plug. Only one. I can provide pictures of my current bios setup if needed, too.

Have you checked in BIOS to be sure your Hard Drive was listed as the 1st hard drive? There's usually two places in BIOS to set for booting. The first is to set the drive you want as the first drive, the next is to set it in the boot order where you want it.

Already checked both, and they don't show up in either. It only shows up under miscellaneous in the advanced tab.

Press Delete to enter the BIOS setup
Under the Authentication tab, disable Secure Boot
Under the Boot Options tab, set Launch CSM to Always
Under the Boot Options tab, set 1st Boot Device to hard drive
Under the Boot Options tab, enable Boot Menu
Save the changes and exit

here's the thing, all of that worked, and my hard drive popped up (FINALLY!!) BUT... I am stuck in the automatic repair loop, and when I try and exit to windows 8.1, it says my PC Didn't start correctly. If I do restart, the process repeats..

if you been in the bios you may have set a setting wrong reset bios to default. save and exit see if anything changes. if the error comes back make sure the sata port set to achi mode. if you had them set to ide mode and installed windows it will fail to boot. have to put the sata ports to ide and see if the error stops.

yeah, it's moving and buzzing. Remember, BIOS detects it in one of the tabs.

with the dell bios the windows boot manager is the hard drive unless you can find in the hard drive boot tab to select your hard drive. if it booting and going into a reboot loop. did you swap a lot of parts when you built this rig if you did then your going to have to wipe the hard drive and start fresh. if not you can try and boot into safe mode and remove all of the older drives till it boots.

well this is just an upgraded pre-built PC. And no, I didn't do any "Port Swapping" i don't even know what that means.. Also, this is an Acer computer, not a dell. Do you know how I can get rid of the reboot loop?
