Hi

I have a i7-2600 cpu. With a b75m-a board. My RAM are 2 8gb hyper fury that are capable for 1833mhz. I tried to change the ram settings on bios unfortunately it will not boot. Tried the xmp profile also and still wont boot. I cant find the dram voltage on the bios to try changing to 1.6V. I need help so that at least i can maximize my RAM. Even it will only produce the allowable 1600mhz of the board. Thanks.

Solution
i7-2600 Processor
http://ark.intel.com/products/52213/Intel-Core-i7-2600-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-3_80-GHz

Memory Types DDR3 1066/1333

The memory controller is in the CPU. It is not surprising it doesn't boot at that 1600MHz speed. 1600MHz and 1866MHz is the wrong speed for the i7-2600

I don't know which Kingston product you have since you don't list any part number.

This RAM can run at DDR3-1333 CL8-9-8 @1.5V

Manual settings for this memory
2.4.1 Memory Frequency set to DDR3-1333MHz

2.4.3 DRAM Timings (Primary Timings)
set DRAM CAS Latency to 8
set next number to 9
set next number to 8

No DRAM voltage setting that I see. 1.5 is default.

Since you are using a 2nd Generation Intel CPU, you may be limited to less than 1600MHz. See page 1-15 of the manual.
