how to do BIOS check once i installed new rams?

upgrading my ram from 6gb to 8gb, i know its not much of a difference when i upgrade it but how would i run a BIOS check up to see if the ram stick i put is running fine? it is (4x2)

Going into the BIOS is one way, or you could use CPU-Z www.cpuid.com and it will show you what you have for ram and show each stick and timing details.. You could also run a memory test with AIDIA 64 or with many other programs if you want to make sure your ram is error free.
