I probably need a new Mobo with faster SATA to take advantage of Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250 GB, but not sure I want to rebuild whole computer, reinstall windows...is there any CPU I could buy to replace the E8500 that would significantly speed up computer. The most intensive program I run is FSX..

You can overclock what you have. Overclock.net has pages on how to O/C with your board.
I agree, you will see big improvement over HDD on older SATA.. Check to see that "auto defrag" is turned off in system tools. SSDs don't like to be defragged, auto or otherwise.
