Hi, recently I purchased a Dell Optiplex 990 Small Factor Form, and intend on using it for gaming purposes. After a lot of research, I found that the GTX 750 TI was most suitable for my needs. I was wondering:

1. If the low profile version of the 750 TI would fit, and how difficult installation would be.?
2. What brand/version is the best/cheapest?
3. If I could do this without upgrading the PSU (Currently 240 Watts)

Thanks!

Normally, a 300W PSU is the minimum recommended for a GTX 750 Ti. But I have this Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti LP card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125680
... in my Dell Optiplex 790 SFF also with the stock Dell 240W PSU. So far there has been no problems. I estimated the +12v current to be ~14A when the system is maxed out. The +12v rail on my PSU is rated for 17A. I have a 95W i5-2400 for a CPU. If your 990 SFF uses the same PSU and case, it should be similar to mine:

Thanks, and yeah, I have the same case and PSU. Would this: http://www.msy.com.au/graphics-card/14643-gigabyte-n75toc-2gl-2g-gtx-750-ti-oc-low-profile-pci-e-vga-card.html be a good fit/function well?

Is installation easy?

Thanks

Yes, it's the same card as mine. Installation is as easy as removing the blank slot covers, inserting the card into the slot, and flipping down the locking bracket Dell provides (in place of needing screws). Then simply boot up and install the gfx driver. Here's another view:

Thanks again, (I tested an old low profile graphics card on the Pc and it worked fine) but I have one problem. On the website I am going to get the card from it gives the dimensions L=175mm, W=121mm, H=42mm which don't seem to match my computer. It looks that the length is fine but the width is too big for my case. Can you confirm your dimensions please? Thanks!

That might be the pkg. dimensions. Here are the specs from the Gigabyte website for my card: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5160#sp
H=35 L=161 W=106 mm

My card measures ~6 1/2" long.
