AMD A8-6500 saying 2 cores in task manager, but have 4

Windows sees your processor as 2 cores and 4 threads due to AMD's module design which has two integer cores per module, but only one floating point unit in each module. Windows counts the modules as cores, and the integer cores as logical processors, so it will see your CPU as 2 cores, 4 logical processors.

Thanks you all, this is exactly what I needed before I went and e-mailed newegg and made myself look like an ass, it was just the price difference between a dual-core and a quad-core was quiet a bit different.
