*BUMP*
Hey, My PC would randomly Restart/Reboot.
It happened from the day I got this PC which was the 09 Dec, 2014.
While I'm browsing the internet or playing games it would restart.
I replaced my PSU hoping it would work but it didn't
I also replaced my WiFi Modem and that didn't work.
I also ran MemTest86+ and there was no errors. (I think it is the RAM that is causing the problems though, thinking of getting a new RAM)
I got new fans and installed them thinking it was overheating but that wasn't the case.
I also tried turning off the ''Automatic Restart'' checkbox and that didn't work
This is what is says in the eventlog:

I bought this PC off eBay from someone called ''PCMeal''. Here's the link:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AMD-Eight-8-Core-FX-8350-4-0GHz-Gaming-Computer-8GB-1TB-HDMI-Desktop-PC-/290881207388?hash=item43b9defc5c

I don't know whether my PC is overclocked or not.
This has really annoyed me since I got it and I hope I can find the answer here.

My Peripherals are:
Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Chroma 2014
Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma 2013
Headset: Sennheiser PC 363D

PC Specs:
CPU- AMD FX 8350 Eight Core Processor 4.00GHz Black Edition
Graphics Card- Palit NVIDIA GeForce GT 640
RAM- 1x 8GB
Windows Type- Windows 10, 64 Bit
PSU- SHAW Viper 1500 Gaming 2.3V Tri-Fan Power Supply
Motherboard- GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 Ultra Durable Motherboard

I'm thinking of getting a new ram since I think this one is faulty, also if that doesn't work i'll just probably get a new PC.

Thanks.

If your cpu was overclocked you would see it in the bios. From settings being set to auto, certain values like cpu voltage and multipliers will have a value. Your cpu should be running 4GHz stock and 4.2GHz turbo, auto overclock which is normal.

Open up your PC while its turned off, disconnect the reset switch, we'll see if that's causing your pc to reset randomly.

Obviously the picture isn't your motherboard but all motherboards will have the same plug with reset sw on it, located on the outer edge.

If you disconnect it, write down on a piece of paper which way it was plugged to put back the right way.

Someone wired that wrong, the reset - should be connected with the white wire - and blue + to plus pin

Honestly, It hasn't crashed after I unplugged the Reset Sw cable, but I'll test this PC out for another day to see if it crashes or not. If it doesn't for the whole day, I will pick it as the solution and be relieved that problem is fixed after like 1 year :)

Also I'll be able to save money since I won't have to buy a new PC

As you say its random so i'll hope for the best. If not, try one memory stick at a time.

I thought of reset switch first because i've had someone with this problem not long ago, but his case was more obvious, was resetting while in the bios quite often.

Hope it works out.

It hasn't crashed since I unplugged the cable, but it froze one time when I was browsing though, I don't know if it going to keep on happening or. It doesn't seem like it's going to happen again but if it does do you have any suggestions?

*EDIT* It froze again 15 minutes after I started the PC again, I think it's going to keep on happening, do you have any idea how to fix this?

*EDIT2* It has crashed two times and I couldn't be able to write this edit so I'm writing it on my iPad, I think it's going to keep on happening so I don't know what to do.

Try a reset under Recovery, have a read of what it will do, most applications you can keep but it will reset Win10 if you're running into problems.

Also disable automatic device driver updates, its an additional update system added along with the normal Windows updates. Its possible Win10 installed a driver upsetting your system. There's a stickie about automatic device driver updates in Win10 Forums.

Try lowering the memory speed in the bios, whats your memory speed at? 1600MHz requires manually adjusting the bios to 1600, though 1333/1066 is without an oc. Have a look in the bios and try dropping the memory speed.

If you get stuck where to find memory speed in the bios, search GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 bios memory and look at the images.

Should I change it to x6.66 (1333Mhz) or x5.33 (1066Mhz)?
