Slow sequential read on Samsung 840 Pro 128GB

Hello

I have a problem with my Samsung 840 Pro 128 GB. I have looked at other similar threads for help but nothing solved my problem.

Let's start my small story about it:

I had the mobo Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 with i3 2120 and G.Skill Sniper 8GB@1866 (2x4) and I got very good speeds with it; 530-550 MB/s sequential read (Samsung says up to 530) and 340-355 MB/s sequential write (up to 390). The IOPS for the Random read and write were also close to the announced ones (I can't remember the exact #'s).

I recently upgraded to ASUS Z170-A, with i5 6600K and G.Skill Ripjaws V 8GB@3200 (2x4). The speeds were bad after the installation to the new hardware. The sequential read is 260-300 MB/s and the sequential write 300-320MB/s (I actually don't mind that much about write as it a small difference). The random read and write IOPS have gone crazy, Sometimes very close to the max and sometimes halved, so I get like 40.000 - 90.000 with no consistency.

I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit fully updated (the same goes for the previous PC), all drivers are up to date, including Intel Rapid Storage, the SSD firmware is the latest, I have TRIM enable, AHCI on, Samsung Magician set the SSD to maximum performance, SATA 3 cable (which I tried more than one and in different ports on the mobo), low page file, disabled system restore and the SSD is the OS disk. As I already said before, I have tried almost everything I found in similar threads with no fix yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
