MSI z170 krait gaming mobo, resetting cmos help!!!

Recently I built my new rig and have been having problems saving bios. It doesn't save, lang changes to Chinese or nothing at all etc. Motherboard I'm using is the msi z170 krait gaming, I read the instructions on the manual and it says:
Use jumper cap to short JBAT1 for about 5 - 10 seconds.

But there's no jumper cap.

Help. I'm desperate.

If the jumper is missing, then short out the two pins using a small screwdriver blade or similar metal object. Refer pages 25 and 38 of the manual for location of the pins (pins are close to the button battery).

Alternatively, remove the battery from the motherboard for a couple of minutes or so and then reinstall it.
