Unable to install amd graphics driver

Decided to download the lastest amd driver today, while doing the installation, my monitor went black, the computer is still working though. I know its normal during the amd driver installation process for the monitor to flicker or go black. However after 5minutes+ my monitor was still black. I decided to force restart it by pressing the power button. When it rebooted, the drivers seems to not work, i assume its because its not properly installed. So i uninstalled them and tried reinstalling it, but now i get the error windows cannot install unsigned driver about half way through the installation. I think its not a complete installation as the amd gaming evolved software still prompts me to download the lastest graphics driver. Also i cannot open the amd settings, as the drivers are not properly installed.
P.S. tried to disable driver signature verification through cmd and gpedit.msc, but still get the error.

Solution
Possibly but why did it blank out then? Do you have a spare hdd laying around? Maybe reinstall Windows, don't activate, just install and see if latest driver still does the same thing.

Its almost 2am here in Australia i'll catchya later

I'm not sure what that's really about sorry. Try running driver install in Administrator if you haven't tried this already.

Maybe run ccleaner again in safemode and try relaxing uac/turning it off if left on default settings.

Check your date and time is set correctly also. If time is not set correctly can also affect certificate signatures, just a wild guess.

my date and time is set correctly, i also tried installing older drivers but face the same error. found a thread of the issue, https://community.amd.com/thread/172752 , seems like Microsoft KB 3004394 update causes this issue, and uninstalling it fixed the issue for most people. But under my installed updates, there ins't such update. tried ddu too but was also unsuccessful

Theres a comment there suggesting to completely remove gaming evolved, could that be your issue?

EDIT:

If you are having any problems installing or after installing these new (or any) drivers.....completely uninstall "Gaming Evolved"/'raptr' before trying to install the new drivers. This will not be removed by DDU.

Sorry whats DDU?

Think we've both taken the red pill, this rabbit hole is getting deeper

Have you tried downloading from AMD, not still using the driver link GE gave?

Another thing you can try, create another user (temporary with admin rights) and see driver installs. We'll see then if its a Windows system wide thing or user base with background running process dodging things up.

yea tried downloading from AMD, made another admin user, same error, so its a system wide thing?

tried the beta driver dont work too, but i dont think it the problem lies within the new drivers as i tried installing older drivers but faced the same issue.

Give amd support a go, i feel its all got to do with them. Somehow their driver suit screwed with your machine, this all happened after installing their new driver suit.

Have a look in msconfig bootup running processes, anything resembling AMD shoot it down.

AMD ins't in the list of bootup processes, the amd support takes forever to reply lol.. wonder if it's caused by me force shutting down during the install process.

well decided to reinstall windows 7, and it worked, wish it wasn't so tedious but oh well.

Oh well that was probably not necessary you would think but who knows maybe it was the only way, or restore point.

Look out for that windows update and if its in optional updates, can choose to hide it.

Also if you want to avoid Win10 popup and other Win10 related privacy issues, google the updates responsible and hide those as well.
