Hi.

I have just finished my first build:
1. I5 6600K
2. ASRock z170 Gaming K4
3. 16Gb DDR 4 Kingston HyperX 2666Mhz
4. ASUS GTX970 Strix OC Edition
5. Deepcool DA700 PSU 700W

Everytime i start the PC during POST or in BIOS the mobo red led lights. As the Windows begins loading the led turns off and everything works as supposed to. Sometimes during restart the PC can freeze on POST screen.

Known problems? Solutions?

Solution
Is the light in the top right corner near the RAM? I have the ASRock Z170 OC Formula. I noticed that when the RAM is running at OC speeds (3200MHz) there is a tiny red light that comes on all the time the system is powered up. There are no error messages either on screen or vai the 'Dr. Debug'. If I reduce the RAM speed to something like 2166MHz then the little red light goes off. I can't find any reference to this specific red light in the manuals. My RAM is rated by the manufacturer to run at 3200MHz so I just leave it at that and everything seems fine. Are there any ASRock experts out there that know what this light is all about?
It's just the motherboard letting you know it's checking what hardware is connected. If one of the light becomes solid, it will let you know which part of your hardware is causing your pc to not boot.
If you pc freeze during restart, then that's a problem. Try running your ram at a lower speed than 2666Mhz and run one stick of ram.
If you have another psu to test with, try it.

In 10 restarts the freezing maybe happened twice, all checks seem to be ok, gaming and performance is as expected, the psu is cool most of the time.
