The whine started about 2+ months ago and it has finally driven me up a wall I have ruled out all other components and even replaced my PSU with a :be quiet! DARK POWER PRO 11 1200W ATX 12V 80 Plus Platinum Modular Power Supply (just last night)

  • CPU: i5 3570 (not OCed yet likes to go to 4.2-4.8GHz says task manager) (not the 3570K version... everyone assumes so...)
GPU: EVGA GTX 770 SC (store clock)
    motherboard: Z77 HD3
PSU: be quiet! DARK POWER PRO 11 1200W ATX 12V 80 Plus Platinum Modular Power Supply
    HDD/SSDs: Boost SSD 120GBs / gamestorage SSD 500GB / and a storage SSHD 1TB

Not willing to do physical blocking of fans of the gpu
I will try just about everything else tho BIOS and all

yeah i would try neweg frist, from you first post i did not here it was multi year old card but yes never hurs to try. if they cant help you they can put you in contack with evega and if they wont help you, you ca always buy your self a new fan on ebay as this is a common problem co people sell them.
